White superficial onychomycosis caused by Trichophyton rubrum

Abstract

A case of white superficial onychomycosis (WSO) in an otherwise healthy 40-year-old woman is reported. The recovered pathogen, Trichophyton rubrum, is a rare cause of this condition.
