Abstract

Come on down! This symposium adopts the format and excitement of a television game show to highlight important and contemporary issues in the science, education, and professional practice of medical physics. Hosted by Dr. Kessler and moderated by our President Elect Dr. Bayouth, two teams of physicists captained by our President Dr. Hazle and Chair of the Board Dr. Ezzell will vie for supremacy in debate, trivia, and audience participation. Questions will test the mental mettle of the teams and audience alike on topics ranging from physics fundamentals to the cutting edge, along with debates drawn from the Point‐Counterpoint series in the Medical Physics Journal. Audience participation is an important part of the symposium, so be sure to bring an Audience Response Unit (ARU) if you have one. Everyone will be a winner!.
