Vocal cord paralysis remains a common cause of pediatric airway, voice, and feeding difficulties. The incidence of this disorder may be increasing, and the etiology of vocal cord paralysis in children appears to be changing as well. We review recent advances in diagnosis and surgical treatment of vocal cord motion impairment in children.
