Gangarosa, Epidemiology Program, National Communicable Disease Center, Atlanta, Georgia, reviewed the manuscript and offered many helpful suggestions. Mr. Md. Ibriham, ward master, Pakistan-SEATO Cholera Research Laboratory (PSCRL) Matlab Hospital, was responsible for the collection of specimens from patients during hospitalization. The vibriocidal titrations were performed in the Immunology Unit, PSCRL, under the direction of Dr. Ansaruddin Ahmed. Mr. A. K. M.
