Abstract

The vibration analysis of fractured bones gives the mechanical image of the evolution of healing, based on the change of its own modal parameters. The techniques used up until now focus on the analysis of the bending modes. In the present study, the axial modes are analyzed in addition and the monitoring of the fracture healing under plaster cast is dealt with in this basis.
