Abstract
This report presents the treatment of a long-standing pseudotumor of the right tibia by radical excision and free tissue transfer reconstruction of the resultant defect in a 32-year-old hemophiliac. As a recipient of multiple transfusions of cryoprecipitate and Factor VIII replacement prior to March 1985, the patient was exposed to the human T-cell lymphotropic virus (HTLV-III) as evidenced by positive serum antibody titer.
