Abstract
Antiretroviral therapy (ART) is a primary modality for the treatment and management of HIV/AIDS. Antiretroviral (ARV) agents are associated with drug-drug interactions and high inter-individual variability. The current status of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) for ARV drug classes will be discussed. Additionally, first-line study regimens, consensus recommendations, and analytical methodologies will also be included in this chapter.
