Abstract

It is of interest that a papillary cystadenoma of the ovary was noted in one of 7 patients originally reported by Stein and Leventhal. Since then other benign and malignant ovarian tumors and various other pelvic lesions have been reported in patients with Stein Leventhal ovaries. A review of 181 cases of Stein Leventhal ovaries from The Johns Hopkins Hospital disclosed 28 ovarian tumors and 36 other pelvic lesions and is the basis of this report.
