Abstract
A computer reporting system has been developed and tested in routine operation at Johns Hopkins Radiology Department. It offers comprehensive coverage of general radiology and common special procedures with reporting rates closely approaching dictation. The system is learned in a few weeks and has achieved broad clinical acceptance by virtue of its speed and efficiency. Supporting functions include storage, retrieval, remote display, billing and statistics. The system could be used to solve reporting problems in many other areas of medicine.
