The abrupt onset of Graves' disease: Documentation in the setting of a controlled feeding study

Abstract

A woman serendipitously developed Graves' disease while enrolled in a dietary trial to prevent hypertension. Tachycardia, weight loss, and a marked increase in caloric intake were documented for several weeks prior to the diagnosis.
