Abstract

This chapter covers the definition, morphology, and nomenclature of tetralogy of Fallot, then discusses the history of surgical management, presentation and diagnosis, medical management, surgical repair, palliative procedures, complete repair, results, and long-term complications. A section on special circumstances (tetralogy of Fallot with absent pulmonary valve or with atrioventricular septal defect) is also included.
