Abstract

The authors present and discuss two cases of Waardenburg's syndrome, emphasizing genetic and clinical aspects and, briefly reviewing the literature. The report is relevant due to the importance of the diagnosis of this syndrome, especially regarding to genetic counseling and diagnosis of congenital deafness.
