Abstract

The authors have presented a short treatise on peripheral nerve trauma. The subject is well covered. Anatomy and physiology of the peripheral nerves are given in a simple but erudite manner, as is the pathophysiology after injury. The practical approach to therapy of the surgical neural problem is an essential portion of this pamphlet. The operative indications, incisions, postoperative care and sequelae are all fully discussed. This work should be of value to all who have to solve the problems of peripheral nerve injury.
