Abstract

STRUCTURE is a protein structural prediction package that provides an easy to use menu-driven environment for the analysis of protein and peptide structure on IBM-compatible microcomputers. STRUCTURE consists of a collection of several predictive algorithms with multiple structural parameter sets that allow for the prediction of protein structural/functional characteristics in an output format that facilitates composite predictions. In addition to secondary structure predictions, running average analyses, and hydrophobic moment calculations, the package provides a complete sequence editor and enzyme/site cleavage analysis module. The package is available at no cost to the academic community.
