## Abstract

The standard H_{∞} control problem is as follows: given a number γ ≥ 0 find all controllers K such that a closed loop transfer function has H_{∞} norm less than or equal to γ. State space solutions for the suboptimal (<γ) problem were obtained in the work of J. C. Doyle et al. (IEEE Trans. Automatic Control, Vol. 34, pp. 830-847, Aug. 1989). These solutions are generalized to the optimal case (≤γ) for the full information problem.
