Set-based estimation: Towards task-directed sensing

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

A procedure is described for computing the solution set of parametric equations describing a sensor-object imaging relationship. Also discussed is the use of task-specific information to support set-based decision-making methods. Experimental results indicate that this is a promising approach to the problem of general task-directed sensing.
