Sensor technology for image-guided surgery

Abstract

An overview is given on the various advancements concerning the development of radiographic imaging techniques. Several systems are covered that provide advantages over conventional frame based systems in ease of use. The computer interface between the localizing device and the image data set also provides better and more versatile presentation of medical data.
