Abstract

Thorough analysis of pharmaceutical products and devices is paramount to ensuring safety, with pyrogen contamination potentially proving deadly to the patient. Although several methods exist, only the monocyte activation test has proved to be fully effective in helping to reduce adverse drug reactions.
