Abstract
In the fall of 2013, the American Nurses Association began the process of redesigning the scope and standards for the nurse administrator. This article provides a synthesis of the top 10 changes in the new Scope and Standards forNurse Administrators that are being reviewed for approval. These changes reflect the continuing evolution of practice for nurses serving as leaders across the United States.
