Abstract

A method for studying the response of artificially produced pulmonary metastases of a mouse mammary tumor to treatment in situ is described. Cells grown and irradiated in small lung metastases appeared more radiosensitive in that their dose response curve had smaller shoulder and D0 values than those of cells grown in large Bank tumors and irradiated in situ or in vitro.
