Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

A technique is described by which the pteridines can be separated in single eyes of D. melanogaster adults and the drosopterins can be measured quantitatively. The method utilizes cellulose acetate electrophoresis and densitometry. Males and females of mutant strains were analyzed by this technique; the level of drosopterins observed and compared to those obtained by other workers.
