Purification of conjugated bilirubin: a new approach utilizing albumin agarose gel affinity chromatography

Abstract

A rapid, relatively simple method for the purification of conjugated bilirubin from bile by albumin agarose gel affinity chromatography is described. The preparation is virtually free from the major biliary contaminants.
