Abstract

Identification of serine/threonine phosphorylated proteins was carried out using proteomic approach. Various antibodies that recognized phosphoserine/phosphothreonine containing proteins were characterized by Western blotting. A differential display proteomics study using Calyculin A treated or non-treated HeLa cells and immunoprecipitation proteins with antipSer antibody was applied. The proteomic approach resulted in identification of several knowm as well as novel phosphoproteins.
