Abstract

The measurement of direct leukocyte migration is exquisitely sensitive to toxic factors present in antigen preparation from tumor tissue. In addition, a large amount of blood is required to perform relatively few assays. These disadvantages of the direct leukocyte migration assay severely limit the use of this technique in the study of human tumor immunity.
