Abstract

I had the opportunity to talk with Ellie Gordon, a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the UK. It was a privilege to learn more about innovative nursing roles in the UK. Miss Gordon has practiced in many capacities including that of a manager, a senior addiction therapist, a nonmedical prescriber, and Clinical Nurse Specialist. She is a Registered Mental Health Nurse, has a Diploma in mental health studies, a Graduate Diploma in Addiction Studies, a Bsc Hons Health Care Studies and a MA Health Care Studies.
