Abstract

This review is intended to be a practical guide to advances in the pharmacology of anticonvulsants. It focuses on several anticonvulsants that are important in pediatric practice and emphasizes the rational application of these basic pharmacologic principles and therapeutic monitoring techniques to improved seizure control.
