Perioperative epidural blockade in the management of post-traumatic complex pain syndrome of the lower extremity

Abstract

Management of complex regional pain syndrome after lower extremity trauma is difficult. The use of a continuous epidural blockade enhances the results of lower extremity peripheral nerve surgery. This article presents our experience using this approach for the management of these patients.
