Abstract

Palatal myoclonus is an unusual manifestation of central neurologic disease occurring in muscles of the head and neck and occasionally in the upper extremities. The location of the myoclonic twitching is likely to invite the attention of the otolaryngologist. Bizarre manifestations may occur, as illustrated by this case.
