Laryngeal chondronecrosis: clinical variations and comments on recognition and management

Abstract

Six cases of laryngeal chondronecrosis are presented. Our experience prompts us to consider this to be a disorder of greater frequency than is generally acknowledged. The recognition of the prodromal stages and the prompt and vigorous institution of corrective measures have been emphasized.
