Abstract

Endoscopy management for hydrocphalus has made significant advances since the advent of this technology. There have been refinements in the size of the endoscope, the optics and magnification. Although the endoscope is a safe instrument there are some associated complications which are not seen in traditional shunt systems. This chapter will describe the potential complications in the endoscopic treatment of hydrocepahlus.
