Abstract
The purpose of the studies reported here was to examine the genetic requirements of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) for acceptance of BM grafts in these mice. The requirement for acceptance of BM grafts from mice histocompatible at the MHC but different at other histocompatibility loci was also examined. Furthermore, the genetic requirement for compatibility between TSRC and antitheta serum plus complement-treated BM grafts was studied, together with the absolute requirement for pluripotent stem cell identity.
