Abstract
Female sterilization by laparoscopic technics has many advantages over traditional methods. In this series of 3600 laparoscopic tubal sterilizations, gastrointestinal injury was encountered in 11 patients, 10 of these secondary to electrical burns. The presentation, management, and hospital course of these injuries are presented.
