Abstract
Gas solubilities at ambient pressures have been measured for CO2 In n-hexadecane, n-elcosane, squalane, 1-methylnaphthalene, and quinoline over a temperature range from 298.6 to 330.2 K. The experimental data are analyzed by using the polymer solution theory of Flory to compare phase equilibrium behavior for paraffinic vs. aromatic solvents.
