Abstract
A 72-year-old man with alcoholism had abnormal liver function tests. His Tc-99m albumin colloid liver-spleen scan revealed a photopenic focal defect in the lateral portion of the right lobe of the liver. A Tc-99m DISIDA scan showed anatomic congruence of the intrahepatic gallbladder and the defect in the liver-spleen scan. The differential diagnosis of a solitary cold lesion presented in the albumin colloid liver-spleen scintigraphy should include intrahepatic gallbladder. A hepatobiliary scintigraphy will establish the diagnosis.
