Abstract
Primary and secondary prevention of stroke has changed considerably during the last ten years. Numerous trial have studied the use and efficacy of various treatment that were previously used and defended on theoretical or anecdotal grounds. This article discusses cerebrovascular disease in subsets and reviews treatments based on evidence in each case.
