Abstract

In order to treat successfully the patient presenting with headache, one must carefully question, examine, and study the complete patient as well as his complaint of headache. This evaluation includes a complete history, a detailed medical and neurologic examination, appropriate laboratory studies, and judicious use of neurodiagnostic studies.
