Abstract
The uterus plays a crucial role in many aspects of the reproductive process. The diverse pathologic entities involving the uterus that interfere with conception or maintenance of pregnancy attest to the versatility of this organ. The present review brings up to date our understanding of uterine factors in infertility and critically analyzes various approaches to their correction. The management recommended represents a synthesis of the most efficacious principles experienced by our group.
