Abstract

The Journal of Comparative Neurology, Volume 526, Issue 3, pages 425–438, February 15, 2018, DOI 10.1002/cne.24341 This article was originally published with incorrect biographical references. On page 430, the first paragraph of Session 3.3 should read: Recent work suggested that peripherin immunolabels only a subset of type II SGNs(Maison, Liberman, & Liberman, 2016; Nishimura, Noda, & Dabdoub,2017; Vyas et al., 2016). On page 436, the second paragraph of Session 4.3 should read: Maison, Libernan, & Libernan (2016) also noted that peripherin robustly labeled type II SGN somata, but only weakly and infrequently labeled projections in the adult mice. In addition, the funding source R01DC016559 was not listed in the Funding section and the Acknowledgments section. We apologize for any confusion these errors might have caused.
