Abstract

In this article, the statement “Over 40,000 chemicals are approved for commercial use,” found in these condsentence of the abstract, is incorrect. The statement has been corrected to “More than 40,000 chemicals are currently in commercial use in the UnitedStates.” The authors regret the error.
