Abstract

Invasive mycoses have become important causes of morbidity and morality in immunocompromised patients. New approaches for antifungal therapy are required to meet the challenges imposed by these life-threatening infections. Such approaches are being developed through identification of novel biochemical and molecular targets of pathogenic fungi.
