Abstract

This paper summarizes a panel discussion on various aspects of dynamic capabilities, defined as competencies that allow a firm to quickly reconfigure its organizational structure and routines in response to new opportunities. Dynamic capabilities that have to do with cost reduction, outsourcing, knowledge networking and knowledge management, amongst others, are discussed.
