Abstract
For no localisation has it been proved that the systematic prolongation of antibiotic treatment, comprising isoniazide and rifampicin, beyond 9 months improves the percentage of cures. Still shorter treatments are being tried out in many countries. It is probable that the combined use of 4-anti-tuberculosis antiibiotics at the outset of treatment will make sure of the cure of 100% of tuberculotics within 6 months.
