Abstract

This article reviews the clinical presentations and management of the non-IgE-mediated intestinal inflammatory diseases attributed to dietary protein. A discussion of dietary protein enteropathy, as distinct from celiac disease, dietary protein enterocolitis, and dietary protein proctitis is included. All are conditions of early infancy that may present to an allergist or pediatric gastroenterologist.
