Abstract

A diagnosis of epilepsy can be made in most patients on the basis of the clinical history and the exclusion by physical, neurologic, and laboratory examinations of other disorders known to be associated with seizures - e.g. intracranial neoplasm, hypoglycemia, and hypocalcemia. The authors gave a review of the possible diagnostic procedures.
