Abstract

An analytical procedure is presented for the determination of ruthenium on membrane filters. Also the preparation of platinum bis(1,1,1-trifluoro-2,4-pentanedlonate) is described and a discussion of the structure of this complex is included. The negative ion chemical ionization mass spectra of this chelate and the following complexes are reported: palladium bis(1,1,1-trifluoro-2,4-pentanedionate) and ruthenium tris-(1,1,1 -trif luoro-2,4-pentanedionate).
