Abstract

The authors would like to inform that the correct affiliations of Stefan D. Anker is “Department of Cardiology and Pneumology, University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG), Göttingen, Germany” and the correct affiliation of Ali Ahmed is “Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Washington, DC, USA, George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA, and University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham, AL, USA;” There is a correction in Table 4: Last panel, Coronary artery bypass graft surgery, the incidence for Isolated systolic hypertension is 2% but should be corrected to 6% (102/1818). The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
