Abstract

The Pulmonary Hypertension Association Registry (PHAR) became aware of an error in coding of one of the quality of life metrics, the SF-12. The coding error affected both the mental and physical SF-12 component scores. The PHAR provided the authors (J. Minhas et al.) with an updated data set and the authors performed their analysis on the updated data set. The PHAR and authors (J. Minhas et al.) apologize for the error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The SF-12 scores in Table 1 (last two rows) should be corrected to SF-12 physical component score for IPAH = 35 ± 11 and for CTEPH = 35 ± 11 whereas the SF-12 mental component score for IPAH = 48 ± 11 and for CTEPH = 47 ± 11. The SF-12 scores in table 2 (last two rows) should be corrected to SF-12 physical component score for Medical management = 34 ± 10 and for PTE = 39 ± 10 whereas the SF-12 mental component score for Medical management = 49 ± 11 and for PTE = 50 ± 12. Table 2 have been corrected. Corrected Figures 2, 3, and 6 have been updated. 2 FIGURE (Figure presented.) 3 FIGURE (Figure presented.) 6 FIGURE (Figure presented.).
