Abstract

Page 7768. Part of Figure 5 is missing. The figure should appear as follows: [formula omitted] Figure 5: Dependence of dsDNA-dependent ATP hydrolysis on DNA structure. Reaction solutions contained 25 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 4.5 mM MgCl2, 4 mM ATP, 200 nM helicase II, and 1 μM nicked circular pUCl8 dsDNA (O), 1 μM covalently closed pUC18 dsDNA (Δ), or no DNA (♦). The reactions were carried out at 37 °C. The points represent the amount of ATP hydrolyzed as a function of time.
