Abstract

Continuing education (CE) faces several challenges: (a) providing appropriate programs for allied health professionals whose diverse roles are spread across the broad spectrum of health care delivery; (b) helping these health professionals to maximize their potential contributions in the changing health care delivery system; and (c) facilitating research on the effectiveness of collaborative approaches to patient care.
