Abstract

Complementary and alternative medicines (CAM) are commonly used in the general population, often without involvement of physicians. This chapter is devoted to describing some common and safe complementary and alternative therapies for nausea and vomiting, with discussions on possible mechanism of action and review of the current literature. This chapter aims to aid in closing the gap between patients’ and physicians’ perceptions around CAM.
